WorkEnders, Inc. was founded in 1991 in Boca Raton, Florida. The
company began expanding nationally in 1992. Each location is locally
owned and operated by an authorized WorkEnders franchisee. Most
franchisees have been in business for many years. This is unique in an
industry with a traditionally high mortality rate.
|
|
|
WorkEnders franchisees carry $1 million dollars liability insurance,
including a "care, custody and control" provision. This means that you are
protected against damage incurred due to the negligence of our cleaners.
Employees are bonded and covered by Workers' Compensation Insurance, in
accordance with state regulations. Your local WorkEnders franchisee will
be happy to provide you with evidence of his or her current insurance coverage.

|
While cleaning companies may have their employees covered by a bond to
protect them against employee dishonesty, only a "third-party" fidelity
bond covers you, the client. WorkEnders' franchisees maintain a third-party fidelity
bond to provide you with greater piece of mind. That being said, we
wouldn't think of sending anyone into your home that we wouldn't trust or
want coming into our homes.

The IRS has very specific guidelines as to what constitutes an
independent contractor and what constitutes an employee (IRS
Publication 1779). If you hire an individual to clean your home
who falls under the IRS definition of a "household employee", you are a
"household employer". If you pay a household employee $1,300 or more
in a calendar year, you
are required to withhold income tax, as well as social security and
Medicare taxes (FICA). You are also obligated to match the employees
FICA contributions and pay applicable state and federal unemployment
taxes.
You must
obtain an Employer's Identification Number, issue a W-2 and file Form 1040 Schedule H. Failure to do so can result in serious
penalties and interest.
The people we send to clean your home
are employees of our franchisees. This means that income tax,
social security tax, Medicare, along with federal and state unemployment
taxes are taken care of by the franchise owner. You don't have to
worry about running afoul of the IRS and winding up with an
unwelcome call from a revenue agent down the road.

We do. Over the years we have learned which cleaning products,
materials, tools and equipment work most effectively, efficiently and safely.
This not only makes our job easier, it helps us give you the results you expect
from professionals. And you get to stop buying all that "stuff" that
clutters up your cabinets, garage or laundry room. Of no small consequence
is the fact that the $400 or $500 that you normally spend on these items every
year can go toward paying for your WorkEnders professional cleaning service.

Yes. Our reputation and your future patronage depend on our ability to
meet your expectations. Our people pride themselves in their work.
However, if there is ever a problem simply call the office or leave a note for
the team on their next cleaning visit and we'll take care of it.
|
|
|
When your local representative meets with you to determine your needs and
explain our service, you will be given a detailed account of what we'll take
care of on each visit. Any particular concerns or special requests
will be recorded. This helps to avoid future misunderstandings and serves
as a checklist for the team — as well as you, on each visit.

Most clients are not home when we come to clean. Naturally, we don't
expect you to leave your doors unlocked, and leaving a key under the mat sure
isn't a good idea. Our customers generally loan us a key, which we code
and keep securely locked up in our office. Because we only attach a code
number to your key, if it ever was lost there is no way anyone would have a way
of tracing its origin.

|
|
Over the years one of the biggest complaints we've heard from clients is the
unreliability of prior house cleaners. We're as diligent about punctuality
as we are about our cleaning. Because your team generally cleans several
homes in a day, we can't guarantee a specific time but we can pledge morning or
afternoon arrival on the day your cleaning is booked. Barring a major
event, like a snow storm or some unforeseen mishap, we will show up as promised
on your scheduled cleaning day.
|
|
|
There are many factors that determine how we arrive at your cleaning price.
Of course, the size of your home is a factor. But when it comes to
cleaning a home, no two homes are identical even if exactly the same in size and
layout.
A 3,000 square foot, sparsely furnished home with only two
adults and no pets will usually involve less toil than a 2,000 square foot,
copiously furnished home occupied by a family with two children, a dog and a cat.
Your WorkEnders professional will first visit your home to evaluate your
unique situation, discuss your specific needs and determine how much work is
involved. Only then can we determine your cleaning price. All things considered, we're certain
you'll be pleasantly surprised at how affordable our service is.
