Conventional means of recruiting are not inexpensive. Classified advertising, particularly in larger markets, can run several hundred dollars for just a few days run. And there is not much you can tell a potential job applicant in a dozen lines in a Help Wanted ad. In a survey conducted in November 2009 asking cleaning business owners what they typically spend to get an application from potentially qualified prospective employee, here were the results from our poll.
As indicated in the graph, 59% of the home cleaning business owners responding to our survey invest over $50; 38% spend over $100/qualified applicant.
